World Tour Mode takes players all across th e world, from Baja California and London, to Malaysia, China, Japan, and more. Any event the player races in, gains them both: fame - the game's form of experience and money, which can be used to buy new cars, as well as upgrade existing ones.
Players will be able to form friendships with other drivers, which in turn allows them to qualify for team-events. This mode takes players from their first race, in London, to tracks all across the world as they gain fame and level up. The main game-play mode in DiRT 2 is the DiRT World Tour. 2009 and was one of the first games to take advantage of new DirectX 11 features found in only the newest graphics cards. The PC version of Dirt 2 was released in North America on December 8th. This was only for consoles and portable game devices. If the jousticks are wobbly (or if they go up and down when you wanna remove the head of the stick) your can take the controller apart with a flat screwdriver (it should require proprietary torx screwdriver with a hole in the middle but the screws are not that tight and I managed easily without it) and add a simple piece of tape between the stick moving the potentiometers and the actual joystick.
If you have a laptop plug the controller and open the xbox app, you can check that everything is working properly this way.
Just make sure you try the sticks, the bumpers check that nothing is sticky or wobbling. Is definitely worth it ! It feels heavy and weel built (apart from my left grip which is starting to peel off - google that for more info). I bought a used Elite controller for the price of a new regular one.
